Hello there everyone... Well, the keeping of boxes have been an aged old debate weather or not to keep them. Recently i have been forced into a dilema to weather or not keep them as i was about to move to a smaller place. I had to just close my eyes n ditch a hack lot of flattened TF boxes with the exception of new and vintage G1Tf boxes.

But after i did that, i was told by my cousin that we are not moving, AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! Regret like hell man, But then again , i was kinda relieved as the burden of keeping them is a killer.. makan space like anything..

So the question is.. do u keep the boxes or do u discard them.. especially when it's not the G1 or vintage variety

P.S hehehe I tak tahu macam mana make this inot a poll man heheh who wanna make it into a poll? I m still so new to these kinda forum punya thingie U guys can make a poll that is from g1 sampai Energonlor heheh

i sillyly keep all my boXes!!

Me even keep the card for those is Card Package like those armada hot shot and bra bra..

Sadly I don't keep most of the boxes / cards, because it takes up soooooooooo much space .

Sure, it'll hurt the resale value of the toy, but i'd rather have more space, than more $$.

If Hasbro ever made Takara type packaging, I might consider keeping it for storing the figure later.

i keep them all but its a real pain coz it is taking up lots of space...do u think for the carded ones, scrapping off the bubble and keep the card will do?

cause i just wanna make a wall of empty boxes in my new house made of TF boxes ... since im a recent collector too ... i dont have much boxes ... heheh

It is when your collection grow like a couple of bunnies on a hot summer night .. then u would really be pulling at the roots of your hair mana to keep those pesky boxes

hey, i keep the whole damn box. the whole collection!! yeah it takes some space and wife been bugging me. Keep the boxes. Energon ones are kinda nice! Haha. But of course, ill be keeping the cards!!

[color=blue:9abdf21890]Well i use to keep em all.. sampai this year when i was had a false alarm in terms of moving to a smaller apartment. I had to chuck my Energon boxes.. then realised i am not moving after i had chucked em..

So now.. i only keep the cards n chuck the Energon boxes. The only boxes i keep now r the Takara book cover reissues.. e-hobby reissues.. vintage boxes n Takara SL boxes.. so ok.. i am very Jap bias when it comes to boxes kakaka[/color:9abdf21890]

i'll always keep the boxes, coz i'll let my babies back to original place after i played with them since i have not else place to display them

wah seems like everyone got fetish for TF boxes too...well, as for me, i hide my boxes under my bed...hmmm...and some in the cupboard..and soon in the attic..

I mostly just throw away the boxes and the bubbles on the card.The only thing i keep is the cards,the toy and other misc stuff like the instrustions,catalogue.

like Sean said, new collectors always keep the box and so do i dont want to make the same mistake like i did during my primary years dulu

[color=blue:d01b69b91d]Kekekek the art of keeping the boxes of your toy can be very fulfilling during the begining.. especially when the boxes r so much more bigger then the toy. It creates the illusion that u have got a nice big collection when u pile up 10 similar size boxes kekekek...

Wait till it grows... the boxes will be flattened to give u the illusion that u have a smaller collection of boxes... then as times go by.. u will have to make the dreadful decision of weather or not to throw the boxes... And eventually.. u just might kekekkekakakakak!!!![/color:d01b69b91d]

hehehe...check out my closet...there's just a little portion of clothes...the rest are boxes...but most of my boxes, i wrap em in a 29" tv box and put it on top of my closet...hehehhe, never even throw a single box from the first TF i bought back in late 80's. hiah hiah hiahhh

I only keep the Takara boxes. they are nice and solid-like. The HAsbro ones are irritating to me, for some reason, probably because of the flimsy windows.

Takara has good box design, what i like about takara's packaging is that all the basic figures are all in carded bubbles(since Micron legends), tak payah buang 8) then the box(deluxe,mega) all kecik kecik easy to store them, as for hasbro i only keep Alternator boxes.

YEAH! I like those. so easy to store the toys away when you need the space. just transform them and put them in the box. no problemo. and they don't have all those twist-ties that Hasbro likes so much.

i keep all the hasbro boxes all stacked up in corner. i don't plan on throwing them either. i like the alternator box as i use them for a mib display (i only have sideswipe tho )

I put all my transformers in their home's(boxes) when I dun take them out for display. If I keep them inside their "home" is because some relative is coming and staying in my room and they have children. They broke my G2 Pyro's Gun two years ago (DAMM U !) and from then on I keep them.....no I SAFEGUARD them inside their "homes" and hide in a box which I put on top my closet !

On a sidenote, IF anyone of u don't have a closet which is safe locked DO NOT i repeat DO NOT leave them as easy meat for children. U WILL REGRET IT !
