More components and modules was installed today. I had the ‘honour’ to tweak and play around with the coms and mods of Groupjive, a social networking com/mod made specially for Joomla. It’s like having a mini Facebook-Friendster thingy embedded within your portal.
The com/mod was awesome though where you can create categories of cliques/groups/clans (whatever you call it), and create them freely. The interface was lively and neat with customisable icon.
The whole idea itself serves well as an alternative foruming grounds for a topic-centric group of people who shared same interests, hometown or whatever they can think of.
This addon is popular and quickly making waves as a ‘must have’ addon for all Joomla junkies out there.
As for myself, I can’t wait to have them populated by our very mecha junkies!
