Despite being on the cutting edge of cinema, both James Cameron and Michael Bay are coming out against studios that are forcing filmmakers to convert their films into the 3D format.
Cameron likened the new 3D craze to the CG obsession started by Pixar with their 1995 release Toy Story: "After Toy Story, there were 10 really bad CG movies because everybody thought the success of that film was CG and not great characters that were beautifully designed and heartwarming," the director told Deadline Hollywood.
